The Bicentennial is a moment of celebration, reflection and renewal—a time of hope to give strength, wisdom and vision to the university for its next century of academic leadership and public service in American higher education.

The bicentennial will serve as a transforming celebration in which various constituencies of the university community will honor two centuries of Catholic education. The sense of history so integral to the celebration will help foster increased understanding and appreciation of the importance of our Catholic mission.
