Terrace Memories

I lived on second class Brutè (Room 242) my freshman year, my roommate Jimmy Lesko and I were huge Mount basketball fans and that year we made it to the NEC Championship Game which was against Robert Morris in Pittsburgh. After being convinced on the 5 hour bus ride to paint our chests for the game and making it onto ESPN 2, the Mount lost the game. After what felt like the longest bus ride ever (due to a 2 hour stop at a Roy Rogers) we finally made it back to the Mount around 3 AM and all we wanted to do was sleep. Our buddies Dan Mortensen and John Rosecrans, who lived down the hall, had a different plan for us. In our absence the two went to our room and moved everything, desks, chairs, dressers, the ladders to our beds, creating quite the little obstacle course to climb through. After climbing our way through the piled furniture we crawled our way to our lofted beds and went to sleep—chest paint still intact.
