Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions about reunion weekend?
Many of your questions are answered here!

IMPORTANT PHONE NUMBERS ARE LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.

TICKETS & EVENT REGISTRATION

Do I need to register for Reunion?

Registration is a must! Your registration helps us know how many people are coming to Reunion and allows us to provide you with important information for the weekend. Even some events with no charge require tickets. The class with the greatest percentage of attendance will be recognized in the Fall issue of the Mount Magazine, so register and be counted!

Ticket prices for Reunion events are listed on the registration form. Reunion Weekend is not a fundraising event for the University. The events that we offer to alumni throughout the weekend involve considerable cost for such amenities as tent and table rentals, entertainment, wait staff, labor and maintenance.

How do I register?

There are two ways to register for Reunion events. We are excited to now offer online regsitration for Reunion and other alumni events. If you would prefer, you can download a registration form and mail, with payment, to Mount St. Mary’s University Alumni Office, 16300 Old Emmitsburg Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 OR fax the completed form (credit card payments only) to 301 447-5861.

Link to online registration and downloadable registration form will be posted in March 2009.

Do I have to register, or can I pay at the door?

No tickets will be sold at the door for any event. All tickets must be ordered and paid for in advance.

Will I receive confirmation?

Confirmation will be sent via e-mail, so remember to include your e-mail address on your registration form!

Can I get my tickets ahead of time?

Tickets will only be distributed at the Reunion Registration Desk beginning Friday, June 6 during the hours specified.

OTHER INFORMATION

Where can I find my classmates when I arrive on campus?

Have some downtime over the weekend?  Need a place to meet up with your classmates? Each class will have a designated "class headquarters" to use throughout the weekend. These will be published online and in the Reunion brochure, and posted throughout campus during Reunion.

Will I be able to purchase my class photo?

Our Reunion photographer, Tom Lesser, will make all photos available for purchase online. Order information will be available at the Reunion Registration Desk throughout the weekend. Class photos will be taken for each reunion class at designated times and locations:

Can I take a tour of the campus?

See how the campus has grown and changed in the years since you graduated. Self-guided tour information will be available at the Reunion Registration Desk throughout the weekend.

How can I make my class #1 in giving participation in honor of our Reunion?

Show your class spirit by making an extra effort to participate and give in honor of your reunion. The Mount Annual Fund ensures a Mount education is open to all qualified students who seek it. Your contribution, no matter the amount, counts toward your class participation rate. Make your class and the Mount #1 by sending in your gift, even if you are not attending the reunion.

There are two ways to make your gift: include it when you register for Reunion, or make a separate donation.
