| Academic Programs The Death Penalty – A Matter of Faith David McCarthy Mount Faculty from a variety of departments are completing a book on Capital Punishment (forthcoming with Liturgical Press). In this session, we will discuss a variety of topics and perspectives: sociological, political, economic, biblical, and theological. The faculty project was initiated by the Catholic Mobilizing Network, which has an office on campus and works with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in its efforts to abolish the death penalty in the United States.
