Reunion Giving

Reunion Class Gift Program!
Our Reunion Celebrations are not only about reconnecting with old friends and re-living old times, but also about re-engaging with the Mount Community and thoughtfully giving back. Although we may not have realized it, our educational experience was being partially funded by generous alumni and friends giving back to Mount St. Mary’s. The same is true today. Tuition only covers part of the cost of a Mount education. Generous gifts from alumni and friends make up the difference.
The Reunion Class Gift Program is a critical component of the Mount’s Annual Fund. It provides the flexible support the university needs to maintain its reputation as a top-notch Catholic university. As you look forward to your monumental reunion celebration this year, please think about giving back a special gift to the university in honor of your class year.
Goals and Incentives:
Our goal for our Reunion Classes is strong participation. Along with any monetary class gift goals your individual class may have, we have a yearly Class Challenge for all reunion years to reach a class participation rate of 40%. Follow this link to our secure online giving webpage and make a donation to your class now!
- All gifts made for any restricted or unrestricted purpose from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 will count toward your class participation.
- All Mount Annual Fund gifts count for your reunion gift total. You will be recognized as a contributor to your class gift and with an individual membership to an Annual Giving Club.
- All gifts made to the Mount, no matter the designation, will count towards your class gift.
The reunion class(es) with the highest participation and the highest monetary amount received will each be honored with their respective class flags displayed in Patriot Hall for the entire year following their reunion. Review your class participation status now and encourage your fellow classmates to make a gift.
Some classes have decided to create websites to increase class discussion and encourage their classmates to make a gift. Here are some excellent examples:
- The Class of 1970 Website
- The Class of 1980 Website
- The Class of 1985 Website
- The Class of 1990 Website
