David P. Conaghan C'81

Avon By The Sea, NJ

David has been with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, since 1982; and has been a member of the Securities Industry Association-Securities Lending Division since 1985. David has been a member of the Board of Trustees at St. Patrick High School Elizabeth, NJ since 2002; and a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore since 2006; he is also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians John Cardinal O’Connor Division 32 of Belmar, NJ. 

“I am thrilled and honored to serve the NAA as we lead this great institution into its third century of service. The gifts of friendship and the life experiences I’ve received from my days at the Mount drive my service today. I look forward to meeting and working with all alumni as I serve our alma mater. I will work diligently to ensure the mission and vision of our alumni association is realized. ‘To the Mount!!’ ”

Ellen Callahan, C’81

Wilmington, DE

Ellen worked in accounting for 10 years before she moved to sales. She has been in the Armored Transportation/ Cash Vault Services industry for 15 years and enjoys working in this industry. Ellen does not have children but feels fortunate to be “Aunt Ellen” to 11 nieces and nephews.

“I look forward to continuing my service to the Mount Alumni Association as the Executive Vice President, and continuing our work on the Strategic Plan. I enjoyed serving on the Council and working to make the Alumni Association a strong partner for the University."

Tom Cahill, C'87

Summit, NJ

Tom is on the board of the Summit Police Athletic League, St John’s Church, Newark, NJ and on the Board of Directors of the Urban League in Jersey City, NJ and is an active member of the Summit Rotary Club. Tom is a legacy Mountie, following in his father, Robert’s footsteps at the Mount. Tom and his wife, Annemarie, have four children.

The Rev. C. Douglas Kenney, C'95, S'99

Hagerstown, MD

Fr. Doug has served at St. Ann’s parish in Hagerstown he is starting his fourth year as Pastor.
He is active in Western Maryland Regional events as well as various Seminary alumni activities. He is active in the Community in Hagerstown and especially the Fine Arts.

"Since my involvement at the Mount it has continued to form me in my Christian Formation. I recently celebrated 10 years of Priesthood and look forward to many more. I continue to work hard towards the Vision of the Mount and work on our plan to get there. I am deeply honored to be serving our Alma Mater. 'Spes Nostra'."

The Rev. J. Kevin Farmer, C’87

Middletown, MD

Before his current assignment as pastor of Holy Family, Fr. Kevin served as the associate pastor in two parishes and as the director of the O’Dwyer Youth Retreat House and associate Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He has been the Chaplain for two police departments, and the Chaplain of the Baltimore City Fire Department and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. He resides in Middletown, MD and considers himself as a member of both the Frederick and Baltimore Chapters. 

“I chose to volunteer at the Mount and in particular the Alumni Association, because this holy mountain prepared me in so many ways for the priest that I am today. I am eternally grateful and will always give whatever I can, in time and financial assistance, to continue the mission of the University”



Constitutional Parliamentarian

Gregory K. Kirby, C'98

Catonsville, MD

Greg was appointed as Parliamentarian of the National Alumni Association in 2008. He also serves as the Chair of the Alumni Association's By-Laws Committee and as the liaison for that committee to the National Alumni Council. Greg has also been a member of the Alumni Association's Medal, Scholarship and Reunion Committees. An active member of the Baltimore Alumni Chapter, he and his wife, Caitlin, live in Catonsville, MD. Greg is an attorney with the law firm of Wharton, Levin, Ehrmantraut & Klein, P.A., where he focuses on civil litigation.

Maureen is the Director of Alumni Relations at Mount St. Mary's University and a member of the class of 1982

The National Alumni Association is governed by a president, executive vice president and two vice presidents who serve two-year terms, and 10 members of the National Alumni Council who serve four-year terms. These national alumni leaders meet on campus three times during the academic year to organize and plan alumni programs, events and projects that will assist the institution in carrying forth its educational mission.
