Officers President Patrick J. Goles, C’64 Term ends 2009
Pat was elected to his second term as president of the National Alumni Association. He also serves on the Mount’s Bicentennial Commission Alumni Committee, is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees, and is a member of the President’s Council and its advancement committee. An active member of the Baltimore Alumni Chapter, he and his wife, Chrystie, live in Bel Air, Md., where Pat is an investment executive with Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc. “Those who have attended the Mount have ridden the coat tails of the many legends who have gone before us, starting with Father John DuBois. These legends have made us what we are today. From those to whom much has been given, much will be expected. | Executive Vice President Susan Janowiak, C’81 Term ends 2009
Susan is a past member of the National Alumni Association's DuBois/Brute Medal Committee and the President's Council. She was a volunteer member of the Philadelphia area Connections Campaign Committee and the Philadelphia Phelan Testimonial Dinner. She received the National Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award in 1993, and was recently elected to the Sports Hall of Fame for basketball and track. Susan recently moved to Philadelphia, where she is the director of the Brownfields and Outreach Office for the Region 3 EPA. “The Mount has been a very important part of my life, both from an educational standpoint, and a personal standpoint. Being involved in the National Alumni Association was just a natural progression in my relationship with the Mount. The Mount has given me so much, and I wanted to give back and support the University.”

David is the 1st Vice Chair of the President's Council, and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and the Reunion Golf Committee. He is a member of the NAA Constitutional Review Committee, Alumni Scholarship Committee, and the Mount St. Mary's Endowment Fund Committee. He is also a member of the New York Metropolitan and Connecticut Chapters, and a past member of the National Alumni Association Council. David is the Executive Director of CIBC World Markets. "I am thrilled and honored to serve the NAA as we lead this great institution into it’s third century of service. The gifts of friendship and the life experiences I’ve received from my days at the Mount drive my service today. I look forward to meeting and working with all alumni as I serve our alma mater. Fr. Kenney is a member of the Mount St. Mary's Seminary Rector's Council and is active in Western Maryland Regional events as well as various Seminary alumni activities. He is currently serving as pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown, MD.

Fr. Kevin is the pastor of Holy Family Catholic Community in Middletown, Md. He is a member of the President’s Council, and a loyal member of the Frederick Alumni Chapter. Fr. Kevin has been the chaplain of the National Alumni Association since 2004. “I was asked by Pat Goles, and how can you say 'no' to Pat or to the Mount. Rick is the associate counsel and director of patient safety and risk management at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is a member of the Mount’s Athletic Hall of Fame and a trustee e meritus. Rick and his wife, Candice, C’76, recently moved to Pittsburgh from Baltimore, Md. “I am serving as the Alumni Association constitutional parliamentarian because I want to stay connected to the Mount and my alumni colleagues and contribute in any way to maintaining the Mount tradition of comradery that starts freshman year in Emmitsburg and continues throughout our lives.” |

These national alumni leaders meet on campus three times during the academic year to organize and plan alumni programs, events and projects that will assist the institution in carrying forth its educational mission. |
