Get Involved
Some of Mount St. Mary’s most important values are faith and service to others. The university encourages its students to live by these values by sponsoring retreats and service projects. But this doesn’t have to stop when you walk across the stage on graduation day. There are many ways alumni can give back to their alma mater and the community. One of the best ways to get involved and assist current and future Mounties is to become a mentor! We currently have two options for mentors: the new Mount Alumni-Student Mentor Program, which provides alumni an opportunity to offer guidance to a member of the freshman class, and the Alumni Career Mentor Network, which is coordinated through the career center, and focuses on helping Mount students as they select a career path. Aside from mentoring, programs like CARE allow alumni to interact with potential students, and Chapter-sponsored events such as the annual Toys for Tots drive help Mount alumni serve their communities. |
