Friday, June 4th
Registration opens at 12:00 NOON - early arrivals are encouraged to join us at Lunch at the President's Home, hosted by Mrs. Irene Powell.
The Alumni Banquet is a great evening of celebration! Congratulate our Golden Mountaineers and our Brute Medal recipients. This year, Kevin Dowd, C'70 and Judy Mazzeo Zocchi, C'80 will receive the Brute Medal for her accomplishments as a Children's book author and for her role in helping to create the David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at Monmouth Medical Center in southern New Jersey. In addition, Judy is the FIRST woman to receive this prestigious award. Congratulations Judy!
All members of the Class of 1980 are encouraged to attend!
Later on Friday meet up with your classmates on the patio of Bicentennial Hall for a "bring your own" social. Set up will be provided, but refreshments are on your own.
Saturday, June 5th
Morning - there are many options - enjoy a round of golf in the Alumni Golf Tournament, a morning 5K Run, sit in on an academic discussion or tour campus or just shop in the bookstore.
Afternoon - The Alumni Festival begins at noon in Academic Quad. Your Class Photo will be taken at 1:30 PM. A highlight of our reunion activities this year is the Veteran's Walkway Dedication, which begins at 2:00 in Patriot Hall. All reunion attendees are invited to attend. At 5:00 PM join us for the Alumni Memorial Mass in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception.
Evening - The Alumni Reunion Celebration Dinner from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM is an all inclusive casual dinner of beef brisket, corn on the cob, and more - registration is necessary and the price includes meal, soft drinks, beer & wine. The Reunion Concert will round off the evening. Spend the evening rocking to Eleven Eleven a great band from the Philadelphia area featuring music from the 80's, 90's and today.
Sunday, June 6th
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. After mass, join the National Alumni Association leaders for a Roundtable Discussion -learn what the Association has been working on and the goals for the future. A'la Carte Breakfast is available until noon. |
