June 2008

National Alumni Association - Seminary Alumni Retreat
Date: Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13
Location: Mount St. Mary's Seminary
Other Information: All alumni of Mount St. Mary's Seminary are invited to attend a five day retreat led by Father Thomas Acklin, OSB. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, and the retreat will end with lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Retreat activities include Morning Prayer, conferences, private time, Mass, Vespers, a Penance service, daily Rosary, and the Rector's Report. Lodging will be in the Seminary. The total cost is $325 which includes accommodations and all meals. Delaware Chapter - Annual Chapter Beach Picnic
Date: Sunday, July 20
Time: 1 - 6 p.m.
Location: Cape Henlopen State Park
Other Information: Alumni, students, family and friends of the Mount and St. Joe's will gather at the pavilion of Cape Henlopen State Park, located one mile east of the Cape May Lewes Ferry. Rain or shine! We'll start cooking at 1:00 and continue until the food's gone! The cost is $10 for adults and children under 12 are free. To enter the park in-state tags cost $4 and out-of-state tags cost $8. We have our own parking area at the pavilion, 150 yards from the ocean. State your intention at the ticket booth in case the park is near capacity. Burgers, hot dogs, beer, wine, soft drinks, and all the fixin's will be provided.
