Official Maryland Licence Plates

There is a one time fee of $40.00,  of which $15.00 is tax deductible.  This fee must be paid before issuance of the Mount’s special Maryland License plate.



To obtain your plates, please follow these important steps: 

1. Print out and complete a MVA registration form.

2. Mail the completed form with your check for $40.00 (per vehicle), payable to Mount St. Mary’s University; please indicate "MD License Plate Program" in the memo field, to:

Plate numbers will be assigned in the order in which they are received. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery.
