Founder's Scholarship

Two full-tuition Founder’s Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who perform superbly during an on-campus written exam in late January and a personal interview for finalists in early March. Students must be accepted into our Honors Program and meet certain academic criteria to participate.
The requirement for participation is a 3.5 GPA combined with either an SAT score of 1150 or higher (reading and math only), or an ACT score of 25 or higher.

9:45am Honors Program Overview
10:15 am Student exams and parent information sessions
1:00 pm Wrap-up session with students and parents
1:15-2:45 pm Optional Student-led campus tour
1:15-2:45 pm Optional Lunch (cash basis)
3:00 pm Optional Mass

Overnight Experience
For those seniors invited to our Founder’s Scholarship Competition, you are also eligible to register for the following Overnight Experiences which are on the same day as the Competition. Only those students who have already registered for the Competition can register for one of these two programs as well. Registrations for the Overnight Experience will not be accepted unless the student has already registered for the Founder's Scholarship Competition.
Experience the Mount first-hand during this Sunday to Monday program. Visiting students will be hosted by current Mount freshmen and will have the opportunity to attend classes during the day on Monday. On Monday, parents will attend presentations covering a variety of topics including admissions, public safety, campus diversity, student life, community service, and campus ministry.
