Transfer Scholarships

GUARANTEED TRANSFER ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FALL 2012

Academic scholarships for full-time MSMU main campus transfer students are based on the cumulative GPA from the last institution they attended. Financial need is a not a factor in merit-based award decisions. The following are descriptions of the attributes of academic scholarship recipients. Once a students is accepted and offered an academic scholarship, no changed will be made to increase the scholarship amount.

Transfer Scholarship ($8,000 per year) Awarded to incoming full-time transfer students who demonstrate the highest academic achievement and leadership in college and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better.

Transfer Scholarship ($6,000 per year) Awarded to incoming full-time transfer students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement in college and have between a 3.0-3.5 cumulative GPA.

Transfer Scholarship ($4,000 per year) Awarded to incoming full-time transfer students who have demonstrated academic achievement in college and have between a 2.8-3.0 cumulative GPA.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship ($2,500 per year) Awarded to incoming full-time transfer students who are Phi Theta Kappa members. The PTK Scholarship may be awarded in addition to the above-mentioned scholarships.
