Fine Arts Scholarship

Established in 1999 to raise awareness and appreciation of the Fine Arts at Mount St. Mary's University, the scholarship recognizes outstanding high school and community achievements in the arts and intends to encourage future involvement and participation. The awards range from $1,000 - $2,000 per year.  All students regardless of anticipated academic major are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Mount St. Mary’s University offers students a wide array of artistic opportunities, from a major or minor to all levels of individual and collective participation, as well as Master’s degrees in Art and Music Education. In the liberal arts tradition, the art, music, and theatre areas are components of a larger Visual and Performing Arts Department. Elective studies include courses in drawing, photography, jazz, music education, acting and theatrical production.
