Catholic Educator's ScholarshipChildren of current Catholic elementary and secondary school teachers, administrators and staff will receive a minimum of $8,000 annually to attend Mount St. Mary’s University as a full-time, undergraduate student. The scholarship recognizes the commitment of these individuals to the development of Catholic educational values in elementary and secondary schools. Eligible students who receive an academic scholarship from the Mount will receive a $3,000 Catholic Educators' Scholarship in addition to their academic scholarship, for total scholarship amounts ranging from $8,000 to $15,500. Students who are not eligible for an academic scholarship will receive an $8,000 Catholic Educators Scholarship. Eligibility Children of current teachers, administrators and staff who have been employed full time for a minimum of three years (at the time of the student’s enrollment at Mount St. Mary’s) at a Catholic elementary or secondary school, and with demonstrated financial need, are eligible to receive the Catholic Educators Scholarship. Eligible individuals must have the Catholic Educators Scholarship Application completed and signed by the current school principal or other appropriate school official. Employment of the eligible individual must be considered full time by the certifying school in the academic year the form is completed. Eligibility must be approved prior to the student’s enrollment as a full-time student at Mount St. Mary’s University. Eligibility must be certified each academic year.
