Mount St. Mary's University: Faithful and Affordable!

Most families at Mount St. Mary's receive a wide variety of financial aid, including scholarships and grants, that significantly reduces the cost of attending the Mount. Last year, more than $33 million was awarded to Mount students, with an average freshman award of $15,955.

The Mount continues its commitment to making college affordable for students and their families. Last year we supported 98 percent of Mount families with financial aid. In addition to need-based aid, the university awards numerous academic scholarships, ranging from $6,000 to full tuition. (Admissions applications are automatically reviewed for these merit awards.) Our Admissions Committee makes its decisions without reference to any application for aid.
