Foreign Study Financial Aid Policy
Students receiving financial aid to attend the Mount may be able to use some or all of their aid to help defray the costs of foreign study. The types and amount of aid that can be used will be determined by the financial aid office based on the type of program and costs.
Any federal, state and private funds in the student’s financial aid package may be used as long as the total aid does not exceed the cost of study. In addition, in those programs in which tuition is paid directly to the Mount, institutional scholarships and grants may be used to help offset the cost of tuition. See below for a more detailed description of specific financial aid awards as they relate to foreign study programs.
Students interested in obtaining financial aid for foreign study should visit the financial aid office during the semester prior to going abroad to make necessary arrangements.
