Welcome to the Mount family, class of 2016!Mount St. Mary's University is excited to welcome the class of 2016 to our campus community! WIth 461 students, this the third largest class in Mount history - that's over 200 years of Catholic education! These students also represent the highest academic achieving class in Mount history and the second largest minority class ever.
The class of 2016 was selected from an applicant pool of over 5,000. They come from 278 different high schools and represent 24 different states, plus the District of Columbia. Students from Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Peru, and Uruguay are also members of the class. A majority of the students visited campus during their college search; in fact, the university welcomed 300 more Admissions visitors this year than last year. Many of the students have a connection with the Mount that extends through immediate family members.
