Welcome to Work Study Student Employment
Students awarded the Work Study Program for 2013-2014 by the Financial Aid Office may apply for a work study job beginning July 8, 2013 posted below.
How to Apply
Complete Student Employment Application and send application and a copy of your Award Certificate directly to the department contact. When applying to individual departments, please remember to follow up with the department contact to confirm receipt of your application.
There are a limited number of work study positions available, so students are encouraged to apply early. Work study eligible students who are not able to gain employment will be placed on a priority waiting list during the semester.
If you have been hired and a minor under the age of 18 upon your start date, you must complete a Maryland Work Permit Application.
Maryland Residents: Compete work permit application and follow directions on how to apply online.
Out-of-State Residents: Complete work permit application and return to Human Resources along with proof of age (i.e. birth certificate, driver's license, etc.) for approval.
**Minors cannot start work until the department of Human Resources is in receipt of your approved Maryland Work Permit.**
The deadline to apply for work study employment is September 9, 2013.
