Spring Into Fitness Challenge
This year marks the second year that the Mount is participating in the Spring into Fitness Challenge with several other Colleges and Universities. Let's join together to win this challenge and to show our competitors that, while we may be a small university, we are spirited and eager to improve our community and our personal awareness of health.
Now, get ready and get up off that chair to participate in some fun activities that will ultimately make us all feel better!
Challenge Dates: March 17 - April 27, a total of six weeks.
Spring into Fitness Challenge Tracking
Login to the Spring into Fitness Challenge Tracking Form to keep track of your exercise.
The university with the highest percentage of participation (based on number of employees working 1000 or more hours) or with the most minutes will win the Bronze Shoe.
Bonus: All participants will be entered in a weekly raffle drawing!

What to Do ...
Participate in a minimum of 15 minutes of purposeful and meaningful activity for health benefits most days of the week between March 17 - April 27, 2014.
This activity should exceed your activities of daily living and can be completed on your own. Each participant will login and submit your total number of exercise minutes every Monday beginning on March 24, 2014.
- Before the Challenge: Register as an individual or as a team of 5 - Register Online
- Each week of the Challenge: Track your minutes online - (tracking link coming soon)
How to Win the Bronze Shoe ...
The winning College or University will be determined based on two criteria:
- The university with the greatest percentage of participation for all staff (based on 1000 or more hours)
- or -
- The highest average number of exercise minutes by college or university
In addition to having the opportunity to win the Bronze Shoe, all participants will be entered in a weekly raffle drawing!
