Veritas Culture and Enrichment Requirements
Culture and Enrichment Events are part of a non-credit component of the Veritas Program that builds on the liberal arts coursework of the student experience.
After attending a cultural event, students have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences (both on- and off-campus) for academic and personal growth and development.
Examples of Events
- Plays
- Readings
- Art Gallery Visits
- Faith Expression
- Academic Lectures
- Spiritual Retreats
- Nutrition Seminars
- Broadway Shows
Students should plan to attend at least three Culture/Enrichment events per year. The written reflection is then posted to the student's interactive Leadership eFolio. Find out more about the C & E Component of the eFolio.
The final twelve reflections are an important piece of the Leadership Portfolio and Veritas learning experience. These experiences may help demonstrate to potential employers and graduate/professional school admissions committees that Mount students have cultivated well-rounded educations and are life-learners.

Look for the Veritas C&E symbol to find featured events and to plan your spring events calendar.
If you have questions, consult your symposium faculty advisor or email Dr. Leona Sevick.
