Missed Classes

Attendance at all classes is expected. Should an emergency arise, the instructor should be contacted prior to that class. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the instructor or, if unable to reach the instructor, the Professional and Continuing Studies office (301-682-8315). It is the instructor’s prerogative to apply grade penalties in the event of missed classes. Missing one class is equivalent to missing 20% of the course (for a five-week course).
