The remote volcanic island of Ometepe will be the setting for a trip to one of the most exciting and beautiful countries in Central America. As a joint trip between The office of social justice and Outdoor Adventure, participants will start the trip kayaking to monkey-filled islands, swimming in beautiful lagoons, and even hiking through cloud forests to a crater lake atop a volcano! The group will then immerse themselves in Nicaraguan culture as they work alongside locals building a community center in one of the most remote communities of Southern Nicaragua.
