Grandparents University - Grandparents and their grandchildren (recommended ages 8 to 14) spend two days on the Mount campus, staying in a University residence hall, eating campus food, and taking classes from Mount faculty. Crime Scene investigation (CSI) Camp - Basic - is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for students ages 14+ to learn about the criminal justice system in general and crime scene analysis in particular. The week-long camp will introduce eager students to the tools and techniques used in securing crime scenes, collecting and analyzing evidence, and more!  Sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.

MSM's Theology Department will host this two-day Scripture Institute focusing on Scripture and the Moral Life.  Theology Professor, Dr. David McCarthy, will be joined by additional Mount Professors in exploring this important topic.

Catholics and the Death Penalty
Pope Benedict has called all nations to work to repeal the death penalty. New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Illinois recently ended the death penalty. Maryland is poised to do so, moving the nation closer to repeal. Come to a two-day conference that focuses on the role Catholics can play in building this momentum toward repeal.
