Spanish Educators Abroad - Madrid 2013

We are excited to offer a Mount St.Mary's Summer Graduate Program in partnership with Don Quijote Institute in Madrid.  Professional Spanish teachers can receive 3 graduate credits for this program which includes: conversation, advanced grammar,"coloquialismos hispanos," literature, and culture classes/lectures in a two-week intensive program.

Participants:
Minimum number: 6   
Maximum number: 20

Cost: $ 3,950 (in U.S. dollars)
Deadline to Register: April 1, 2013  REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.

Program Costs

The cost for the trip is $3,950 assuming the minimum number of 6 participants are registered.

The program fees Include:

• 25 hours/week Spanish Intensive Course

• 3 Graduate Credits in Spanish offered through Mount St. Mary's University

• 30 hours of guided cultural activities related to course material

• Single room in Madrid

• Breakfast and dinner each day (optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela excluded)

Not included:

• Your travel expenses to and from Madrid. You must purchase your own airfare.

• Daily lunches

• Required literature books.

• Admission to sites in Toledo and Avila

• Optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela August 2-4

This program is open to Middle School and High School Spanish Teachers

Classes will be taught by professors from the Don Quijote Institute and Diana Rodriguez-Lozano, Ph.D. from Mount St. Mary's University. Dr. Rodriguez-Lozano will attend all sessions and supervise all course work. Participants travel Independently.

• Spanish student residence, within walking distance of the Institute
