Spanish Educators Abroad - Madrid 2013

We are excited to offer a Mount St.Mary's Summer Graduate Program in partnership with Don Quijote Institute in Madrid. Professional Spanish teachers can receive 3 graduate credits for this program which includes: conversation, advanced grammar,"coloquialismos hispanos," literature, and culture classes/lectures in a two-week intensive program.
Minimum number: 6
Maximum number: 20
Cost: $ 3,950 (in U.S. dollars)
Deadline to Register: April 1, 2013 REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.
The cost for the trip is $3,950 assuming the minimum number of 6 participants are registered.
The program fees Include:
25 hours/week Spanish Intensive Course
3 Graduate Credits in Spanish offered through Mount St. Mary's University
30 hours of guided cultural activities related to course material
Single room in Madrid
Breakfast and dinner each day (optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela excluded)
Your travel expenses to and from Madrid. You must purchase your own airfare.
Required literature books.
Admission to sites in Toledo and Avila
Optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela August 2-4
This program is open to Middle School and High School Spanish Teachers
Classes will be taught by professors from the Don Quijote Institute and Diana Rodriguez-Lozano, Ph.D. from Mount St. Mary's University. Dr. Rodriguez-Lozano will attend all sessions and supervise all course work. Participants travel Independently.
