Project Discovery Robotics Camp

Enjoy two weeks of fun and hands-on learning. Use Lego Mindstorms and design robots to solve problems. Campers will learn basic programming and then will employ problem-based learning in a series of robotics challenges. This exciting program develops and promotes STEM education.

Students entering grades 4-6
Dates
Week 1: Monday - Friday, July 22-26, 2013 - 9 to 4 p.m.
Week 2: Monday - Friday, July 29-Aug. 2, 2013 - 9 to 4 p.m.
Cost
$398 per Student, plus $50 materials fee
Program includes a supervised lunch and recreation break each day. Snacks and Mount Summer Tee Shirt provided. Bring a bag lunch that does not require refrigeration.

Jason Rubeling has worked for the FCPS school system for 20 years, as an elementary teacher, teacher specialist for professional development, and currently is a math specialist for the county. He has been on the forefront of STEM and STEM initiatives with the MSDE and FCPS for a number of years.
