The Mount’s legal studies minor provides an interdisciplinary understanding of the law that can serve you well in fields ranging from anthropology and history to economics and international relations. In addition to excellent preparation for law school, the program can be the foundation of a career in government, politics, social policy or private industry.

Through the Mount’s strong liberal arts curriculum, you will gain skills in analysis and problem solving, critical reading, writing, oral communication and listening, research, and task organization and management—all skills necessary for competency in law school and the legal profession, according to the American Bar Association.
