The Mount Builds Professionals!

Thinking about pursuing your master’s degree in education? Maybe you’re thinking about teaching for the first time and want to receive initial teacher certification. Or perhaps you would like to earn an advanced teaching degree.

Regardless of your graduate education goals, Mount St. Mary’s University can help. We offer eight study options in education. The personalized attention and flexibility we offer allow you to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching (with initial certification) or a Master of Education degree tailored to meet your needs and schedule. Courses are offered year round in the evenings in Emmitsburg and Frederick.

Mount fees are comparable to—and even less than—many other similar programs in the area. In addition, most employers offer some type of tuition assistance or remission. Click here for more on financial aid.
