Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (Accelerated)

The Mount’s award-winning* accelerated undergraduate program allows you to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in a fast, flexible, yet challenging, format. The courses are five weeks long, one night per week, on a year-round basis.

• Complete your B.A. in criminal justice in two years or less!
• Transfer course credits earned at other regionally accredited institutions.
• Attend class only one night per week. Enjoy the benefits of small class sizes. Learn from knowledgeable, experienced and energized faculty.
• Gain a liberal arts education provided by the Mount, with almost 200 years of tradition and a proven track record in educating outstanding leaders in the criminal justice field
• Earn possible credit for previous learning experiences, assessed through the University Level Examination Program (CLEP) and Mount portfolio program.

*In 2001 in recognition of its excellence, the Mount’s accelerated program received the Distinguished University Award from the Maryland Association for Higher Education.

For added convenience, the Mount has sites in Frederick (at the Mount St. Mary's Continuing Studies Center next to FSK Mall) and in Westminster (on the campus of Carroll Community College).
