Dr. Leona A. Sevick, Associate ProvostDr. Leona A. Sevick received her B.A. from McDaniel College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English language and literature from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to her work at the Mount, she was Assistant Academic Dean at the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD. In addition to her work and writing on retention and advising, Dr. Sevick is a scholar in American literature with special interest in the work of Willa Cather. Dr. Sevick and her husband are parents of two children. She is a native of Taneytown, Maryland.
