Build your nursing career upon a solid liberal arts foundation to gain both professional knowledge and skills you can use in any career—writing, reasoning, critical thinking and ethics. Through our dual-degree program with the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, you can earn undergraduate degrees from both institutions in five years. Your education will begin with three years at the Mount as a biology major. You’ll get the hands-on experience—and laboratory time—other students at larger universities have to fight for. Plus, you’ll start using our state-of-the-art facilities and resources right away. Upon finishing the program, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Mount and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins. Our graduates are known for their abilities in scientific research and inquiry as well as their understanding of ethical and moral issues that concern our society.
