Certification to teach the visual arts in grades pre-K through 12 is also offered. Many graduates continue their studies with a master’s program at the Mount or at other institutions; others head to the classroom and start teaching right away. Maryland’s Frederick County public school system hires more new teachers from Mount St. Mary’s than any other college. |
