The SPARC Festival is a celebration of the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. Modeled after an academic conference, it is a three day event which offers a wide variety of interesting and entertaining activities.
The 2012 SPARC Festival will be held April 17 - 19. Opening ceremonies on Tuesday afternoon include an address by President Powell and the distinguished faculty address. On Wednesday students in the University Honors program present their research projects. Poster sessions, lightning talks, keynote speaker Elliott Woods, and a theatrical performance are also part of Wednesday’s schedule. The festival closes on Thursday with an outdoor celebration of music, performance, and student community service and leadership.
