It’s easy to take your Mount criminal justice or sociology major beyond the classroom! Mount students have presented papers based on their research at the annual meetings of the Southern Sociological Society, the Eastern Sociological Association and the Mid-South Sociological Association. They’ve also presented applied research reports to the Emmitsburg Town Council as part of our participation in the Emmitsburg Needs Assessment; to the Frederick County Commissioners as part of the Frederick County Land Use Study; and to the Mount on a study of college student binge drinking.
