Psychology
Inside an abnormal psychology class, a foul chord strikes Elvis’s guitar as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll descends into the dreary abyss of substance abuse.
No, it’s not some kind of primeval theatre; it’s a very real attempt to understand and analyze case histories of real disorders.
Role playing is just one of the ways the Psychology Department engages students in the study of psychology as a social and natural science. We emphasize scientific thinking about perception, development, learning, motivation, social processes, behavioral disorders and psychotherapy, as well as how these affect and shape individuals and our society. You will learn to implement psychological research as well as analyze research relevant to everyday life as you explore psychological phenomena both intellectually and emotionally.
