Minimum requirements for preferential admission status to Sacred Heart University:

  • GPA of 3.0;

  • GPA of 3.2 in graduate program prerequsites (indicated with * );

  • Recommendation of the health professsions advisor; and

  • Successful completion of an on-site interview during 3rd year.

Notes

  • Writing intensive course should be completed in first 30 credits

  • Requirements for writing intensive, leadership and global encounters must be met before graduation

  • The foreign language requirement must be met before graduation

  • MATH 111 is waived for 3/3 PT


Note that the average full-time student course load per semester is 12-16 credit hours. The Veritas Program is the required liberal arts component of the Mount education.
