* Students may choose from seven different science courses.
** Students can choose from nine different environmental-related electives in the humanities and social sciences.
*** The Experiential component can be completed with an internship, undergraduate research project or independent study.

Writing intensive course should be completed in the first 30 credits. Genetics satisfies the writing intensive requirement. Requirements for Leadership and Global Encounters must be met for graduation.

Students planning to attend graduate school should take additional coursework in mathematics, biology and physics.


Note that the average full-time student course load per semester is 12-16 credit hours. The Veritas Program is the required liberal arts component of the Mount education.
