- Writing intensive course should be completed in the first 30 credits
   (BIWI 221, Genetics satisfies the writing intensive requirement).
- Physics is not required for the major but is required for most professional and graduate schools.
- Leadership portfolio must be completed before graduation.


Note that the average full-time student course load per semester is 12-16 credit hours. The Veritas Program is the required liberal arts component of the Mount education.
