Pi Lambda Theta Honors Society
Pi Lambda Theta is an international educators honor society and professional association in education promoting scholarship and leadership. The university’s chapter, Gamma Tau, holds an initiation ceremony once each spring semester. Nomination for initiation is usually made by current members. To be nominated, a candidate must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 after completing 15 hours of coursework at the Mount and have professional leadership qualities. Pamphlets containing more information can be found on the wall outside the school office. Nominations are considered each December.
Mount St. Mary’s University recognizes graduating students who are members of Pi Lambda Theta at the Spring Honors Ceremony and commencement activities.
Congratulations to the newest members: we are proud of your achievement!
