Elizabeth C. Monahan

Professor Elizabeth C. Monahan serves as the first Director of the Center for Catholic School Excellence housed within the School of Education and Human Services. Professor Monahan’s experience, energy, and commitment to Catholic education will ensure the success of the Center in service to dioceses, parishes and school personnel.
Professor Monahan holds a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from the College of Notre Dame in Maryland, and a master's degree in special education from The Johns Hopkins University. She has served as the director of graduate studies in education, bicentennial director and has taught at the Mount since 1992.
