
The Criminal Justice Student Association and Student Veterns Association hosted its annual Purple Heart Car Show on June 2. The event helps to support the injured men and women of the military and law enforcement. Professor Joseph Vince, Jr. is advisor for both groups.
Spotlight on Success
Dr. Daniel P. Lippy, Principal of West Frederick Middle School, Frederick, MD, was presented with the Friend of Education Award on May 18th.
Each year the School of Education and Human Services selects an individual outside of the Mount’s Education Department who has provided outstanding support or made a significant contribution to the teacher preparation programs of the University.
Dr. Lippy was honored for his involvement in the Mount Teacher Academy and his continuing support of secondary teacher candidates.
