Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business
The business curriculum affords a student the opportunity to broaden his or her understanding of the environment of modern business and of the principles and processes for effective management of organizations. Required courses span the areas of management, marketing, business law, business information systems, analytical techniques of decision making and financial management.
Students also have the opportunity to pursue concentrations within the major:
Finance (Faculty Coordinator - Donald Butt)
International Business and Economics (Faculty Coordinator - F.K. Marsh)
Management (Faculty Coordinator - F.K. Marsh)
Marketing (Faculty Coordinator - Kirk Davidson)
For those who choose to pursue a concentrated field of study and who satisfy the requirements, their official college records and transcripts will show not only their major but their concentration as well.
We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their depth of knowledge and experience in one of these selected areas. Concentrations reinforce our degree in business in a way that will be professionally and personally valuable.
