Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business
Master of Business Administration
For almost 40 years, the Mount has been preparing professionals to meet the challenges of today's—and tomorrow's—complex business world through an exceptional Master of Business Administration program that focuses on problem-solving, communication, critical analysis, and ethical decision-making.
Students in Mount St. Mary's Richard J. Bolte, Sr., School of Business have the option of pursuing a general MBA or selecting a concentration in finance, management, or marketing. Graduate certificates are available in project management and organizational development. Certificate courses can be counted toward an MBA.
Classes meet once a week in the evening or on weekends in a continuous cycle of eight-week courses, rather than the standard 16-week semester. You can earn your MBA in as little as two years at either the Emmitsburg campus or the Mount's Frederick Campus.
Mount fees are comparable to —and even less than—many other programs in the area. In addition, most employers offer some type of tuition assistance or remission. Find out more about graduate student financial aid.
The University's MBA program holds specialized accreditation through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), and the programs are delivered by faculty who have academic credentials, a record of scholarship, and professional work experiences. Our mission is to graduate students who are capable, responsible, methodologically sound, and ethical decision-makers. We do so through a case-study and simulation-based curriculum.
