Emerging Leaders MBA Program

This exclusive MBA program provides working professionals a convenient and efficient way to build their leadership credentials.

The Mount’s Emerging Leaders MBA is an intensive weekend program, held on the first and third Friday and Saturday of every month for one full year, beginning in September. This program is designed for aspiring leaders who wish to expand managerial responsibilities, deepen leadership skills and broaden professional networks to enhance their careers.

The curriculum targets key business skills and emphasized practical applications to ensure graduates master effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Two courses focus entirely on Leadership.

Curriculum

Students are expected to take time during the week to complete their course work, occasionally completing assignments and projects for one course while starting another. Distinguished faculty from the Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business teach all courses and provide students with a successful business leader in the field as a mentor for each course. The curriculum is similar to our traditional MBA with a few notable differences:

  1. The two elective courses in the traditional MBA will be filled with a Leadership in Organizations course and a Capstone Seminar in Leadership course.

  2. A leadership mentor, an executive in the field, will be assigned to each course in the program to assist the faculty member and to provide an external leadership perspective.

  3. Cohort class structure provides a one-of-a-kind networking experience for student leaders and mentors
