Department faculty are eager to help with academic and career advising, including plans for graduate study, law school, teaching or seminary. For those thinking of graduate school theology, a philosophy minor is strongly recommended, as are courses in French, German and classical languages . Please contact a faculty member or the department office if you have questions.

Seminary Courses: Undergraduate students may, with the permission of the university's dean for academic affairs and the dean of studies of the seminary, register for courses offered in Mount St. Mary's Seminary.

Double Majors: Since it is possible for four of the 10 theology courses in the major to serve also as core requirements, students usually have sufficient flexibility to double major.
