Special Programs

The department participates in the social studies/education major, which prepares students wishing to teach at the secondary level, grades 7-12. The certificates awarded to those who successfully complete the program are valid in all NASDTEC member states. Visit the education department’s site for more.

Interdisciplinary Minors
Many of the department’s elective courses are cross-listed with other exciting programs, allowing students to add further minors in Environmental Studies, Gender Studies , Latin American Studies, Legal Studies  and Non-Western Studies.
