Political Science
Professor Michael Towle, chair of the Political Science Department.Do political discussions interest you? Are you curious about America and the world? Would you like to study with faculty who are noted experts on topics such as public opinion and the American presidency?
A major in political science will teach you to examine critical political issues at the local, national and international levels. Our majors gain strong analytical skills and the foundations they need to take their place in today’s global society. In addition to being a good choice for career success, the study of politics is an essential part of an education for life. Whether your interests are local or global, you will gain the background you need to start making a difference the minute you graduate.
