FOUR-WEEK INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAM

As an important complement to its campus programs, the department encourages its students to study abroad.  To facilitate such educational experiences, the department regularly offers summer study abroad programs in:

SHORT-TERM CULTURAL EXPERIENCES ABROAD

The department presents students with the unique opportunity to enrich their cultural
experiences during 8-10 day educational tours.  These programs include:

INDEPENDENT STUDY ABROAD

The Foreign Languages & Literatures Department and Mount St. Mary's University
maintain affiliations with the American Institute of Foreign Study and the Center for
Cross-Cultural Study in order to provide students of Spanish with the opportunity to
independently study abroad for a semester in a program that Mount St. Mary's University
officially recognizes.  Students may choose from the following options:
