2009 STUDENT RESEARCH FESTIVAL
Erica George, Senior, presented her research project
entitled “Orgullo Mount Marketing Campaign: Pride in
Both Hispanic Heritage and Achievement at the Mount”
at the 2009 Student Research Festival on April 5, 2009.
Erica was mentored by Dr. Christina Blackshaw of the
Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures. This
project presented research that examined the need to
publicize Mount St. Mary’s University to Hispanic
communities and examined how the Mount might allow
students to take pride in their heritage as well as in their
accomplishments at an institution.
