German Major

A major in German consists of 31 credits beginning at the 200 level. Majors must complete one course in literature and one in civilization/culture. Normally, majors must take at least 19 credits in German at Mount St. Mary’s, of which a minimum of six credits must be taken during the senior year for those students who have a single major, and three credits for those with a double major. In addition students must take GERMN 470 Senior German Capstone Experience in the fall of their senior year.

GERMAN MINOR

A minor in German consists of 18 credit hours. Students minoring in German are required to take a minimum of 12 credit hours at Mount St. Mary’s.
