German

The department offers a major and minor in German. Students may also become certified to teach German. The minor is available to all students, regardless of major, and is particularly attractive when combined with a major in international studies, business,political science or English. Dr. Samples' German students enjoyed a trip to the Austrian Embassy followed by lunch at Old Europe Restaurant in Washington, D.C. in December 2008.
